time travel

It is in the death ice cold flow 2:28 PM Monday afternoon. A cold sunny day. I wonder if Lake Michigan is frozen over.

I am tired right now so I got to make this quick before I fade away. I got up this morning around 7 o’clock AM. I got up made myself oatmeal for breakfast. I ate my oatmeal messing with our main computer. After breakfast I wrote in my paper diary and then made a video for my Youtube channel.

I left for the Book Nook around 9:35 AM and got home around 1:05 PM. I ate lunch when I got home and messed with our main computer. Carol is presently sleeping but I am sure she will get up sometime this afternoon, maybe late afternoon. At the Book Nook is was very quiet so I read from a novel titled, ‘Paris In The Present Tense’ A Novel by Mark Helprin. I brought home from the Book Nook one used book to add to our library titled, ‘Anything Is Possible’ A Novel by Elizabeth Strout.

Last night I watched professional football and read till I went to bed, ‘Paris In The Present Tense’ A Novel by Helprin. Not much else to report.

anxiety disorder

It is in the death flow 11:31 AM Sunday morning. The sun is shining this morning, but it is bitter cold. This morning when I drove over to the hospital to pick Carol is was 6 degrees. It is kind of pretty outside with the sun shining on the snow. I am glad we are coming to the end of January 2019. I am ready for the warm days of Summer.

I think I got up this morning around 6:30 AM. I got up made myself a portion of oatmeal for breakfast. I ate my oatmeal messing with our main computer. I am still feeling extremely depressed and my left side where I fell recently is in extreme pain. I believe now that I have injured myself for life. I will for the rest of my days be in a state of physical pain. My left side will forever remind me of my folly.

After breakfast I wrote in my paper diary and read a little of my Reformation Commentary on the Gospel of John chapter 6 verse 47. Carol called and I drove over to get her. After picking her up we drove downtown to Reader’s World to get a stack of Sunday newspapers. While at Reader’s World I looked at the books that were marked half price off and picked up a novel that I have been wanting to get for awhile titled, ‘Paris In The Present Tense’ a novel by Mark Helprin.

When we got home it was going on 9 o’clock AM. Carol went to bed for the day since she works again tonight. After tonight Carol is off for eight nights. I have been reading the New York Times Book Review and messing with our main computer. Amazon delivered this morning a book I ordered last week titled, ‘The Diaries of Emilio Renzi: The Happy Years’ autofiction by Ricardo Piglia Translated by Robert Croll. I have been reading off and on for a long time ‘The Diaries of Emilio Renzi: Formative Years’ by Ricardo Piglia Translated by Robert Croll.

Today I will watched professional football. I still think it will be the Chiefs and the Saints in the Superbowl this year.

Last night I read late into the night what I had been reading all day, a book titled, ‘The Collected Stories Of Machado De Assis’ Translated By Margaret Jull Costa And Robin Patterson.

Well I will close to suffer. All one can do is fall down before the throne of grace and pray for healing.

autofiction

It is in the cold icy snow coated death flow 11:08 AM Saturday late morning. We are in the midst of a snow storm. Hopefully we will be able to get out the front door when the snow storm is over.

I got up this morning around 6:27 AM. I got up made myself a portion of oatmeal for breakfast. I ate my oatmeal messing with our main computer. After breakfast and messing with our main computer I wrote in my paper diary and read for awhile from a book titled, ‘Exalted Above the Heavens: The risen and ascended Christ’ by Peter C. Orr.

Carol called around 8:47 AM telling me she was ready to come home from work. So I drove over to the hospital and picked her up. The roads were not so bad.

When we got home home Carol ate some food and messed with our main computer. She went to bed around 9:30 AM and I read. So has gone by the death flow.

Last night I made a video for my Youtube channel and read late into the night from a book titled, ‘The Diaries of Emilio Renze: Formative Years’ fiction by Ricardo Piglia Translated by Robert Croll.

Well not much else to report. I plan to just drift through the day praying for salvation. I need get saved before I fall over dead.

a fortress of sorrow

It is in the death flow 2:26 PM Friday afternoon. It is another extremely cold gray day. I am thankful for a warm house in this cold dead world. I am falling asleep as I type these words so I need to make this quick.

I got up this morning around 6:37 AM. When I got up I found my wife making a pot of chick soup. I got myself a glass of cold water and a muffin. I sat in our dining room waking up to another day of existence. Next I messed with our main computer and then I wrote in my paper diary. Lately I have not been in the mood to read anything in the morning.

I left for the Book Nook around 9:40 AM. The Book Nook was not busy so I sat and read ‘Clarice Lispector Complete Stories. I brought home from the Book Nook one used book to add to our library titled, ‘Washington Black’ A Novel By Esi Edugyan. When I got home from the library used books store I found Carol sitting in the living room playing with her cell phone. This morning she had gone out for coffee with  her cousin Dianne. Carol went to bed around 2 o’clock PM because she works this weekend.

When I got home from the Book Nook I ate lunch and then wrote some more shit in my paper diary.

Last night Carol went to bed early and I messed with my books. I mainly read from these books-

‘The Wanderers’ A Novel By Richard Price

‘Racing In The Street: The Bruce Springsteen Reader’ Edited By June Skinner Sawyers

‘Days Without End’ A Novel By Sebastian Barry

Well since I am falling asleep I will close to feel depressed. I should mention that Caleb, Emily, Josie and Cora were here for dinner last night. Baby Cora took some her first steps to her Papa last night. Soon Cora will be walking all over the house. Caleb gave me a bookcase that we hauled down into the lower level. Last night I filled up the bookcase with a ton of books. I need a couple more bookcases.

Lake effect snow

It is in the death flow 1 o’clock PM Thursday afternoon. It is a very cold gray day. It is suppose to snow this afternoon, but nothing to be concerned about. Because we live near Lake Michigan we get Lake effect snow.

Thus far my day as been normal. Carol left this morning around 10:24 AM to have lunch with friends down in South Haven. I have been reading a short story by T. Coraghessan Boyle in his book of short stories titled, ‘Greasy Lake & Other Stories. I did leave the house to visit a local thrift store this morning and bought one used book titled, ‘Days Without End’ A Novel by Sebastian Barry. I collect the writings of Sebastian Barry for our library.

Not much else to report this afternoon. I plan to spend the afternoon sitting in the dark.

Last night Carol went to bed early and I stayed up and read from a book titled, ‘Racing In The Street: The Bruce Springsteen Reader’ Edited by June Skinner Sawyers. I also made a video last night for my Youtube channel. Now it is another day. Well I will close to feel sick to the center of my being. Do not know when I will see Carol again. Carol told me last night that Caleb, Emily and the girls are coming over for dinner this evening. It always nice to see our two little granddaughters Josie and Cora.
